The Board of Examiners (BOE) administers the APA® program. Meetings are restricted to BOE members only. Lunch is included.

Intro to Oil and Gas Marketing and Sales. 4 Hours of CPE. Includes beverages and mid-morning snack. An additional fee is required.

This intensive session is directed to society and committee leadership, as well as prospective leaders and any other members who wish to attend.

This event is intended to introduce First Timers to their assigned resources and other new faces they will see throughout the week. Expected attendees include: First Timers, First Timers resources, COPAS Standing Committee and Subcommittee Chairs, COPAS Board, COPAS Office, and Hosting Society representatives who wish to attend.

The Hospitality Suite is a COPAS tradition and is the social gathering place where attendees can meet and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere.

Limited to one representative from each society, Board of Directors, and COPAS Committee Chairs.

The general breakfast is open to all meeting attendees. The First Timers breakfast is to welcome all those attending a National COPAS meeting for the first time and provides a brief orientation of the week’s events. In addition to the First Timers, Board Members and all Committee Chairs hosting a meeting that week are expected to attend.

This sub-committee of the Audit Committee is an open forum where new issues are brought before the Audit and Joint Interest committees, and debated in a very lively discussion. All attendees are encouraged to participate in the discussions.

The Revenue Committee meets to discuss all things involving revenue issues: federal, state and private royalties, severance taxes, regulatory, midstream, and downstream.

Includes lunch and transportation. If needed, golf clubs must be rented in advance. An additional fee is required and space is limited.

Meetings are to discuss issues relating to joint venture and other oil and gas industry audits. The Audit Committee usually meets in a combined session with the Joint Interest Committee prior to breaking out into its own separate meeting, when voting items are required.

The Committee discusses issues pertaining to accounting for joint interest operations. The Joint Interest Committee usually meets in a combined session with the Audit Committee prior to breaking out into its separate meeting, when voting items are required.

This committee provides a discussion forum for financial reporting issues in the oil and gas industry.

This committee discusses issues that are unique to small companies.

Board Liaisons provide reports to Committee 1:00-1:30 p.m. Board meetings are generally open to any member who wishes to attend.

This committee helps coordinate the education offerings of COPAS.

This meeting is the culmination of the week’s activities. All the various committees report on their various activities during the week, and the Council handles any voting items and other business that comes before it.
