COPAS and MPACT are again proud to offer another 4 hour accounting seminar at our Summer National Conference this year in Shreveport, Louisiana. This class will cover the history and reasons for joint interest accounting, the situations that complicate it, and how the Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) and Accounting Procedure work in concert to govern all aspects of joint interest accounting. Areas where the JOA provides specific direction for the accountant and where it overrules the Accounting Procedure will be identified and specific examples discussed. Highlights of Accounting Procedure provisions will be presented as well. The class will work problems together to illustrate the concepts presented. This seminar will cost $100 and will provide 4 hours of CPE.
