The Accredited Petroleum Accountant® certification program examinations are administered by  ExamSoft software.  Once a candidate registers with ExamSoft, at www.examsoft.com/copas, the exam of their choice will be downloaded to their laptop.  The APA® Candidate will then have to schedule a test location, date and time.  COPAS will provide approved test sites where APA® Candidates can go to take the exam.  Once at an approved test site, the test proctor will provide you with the access code in order to open and begin the exam.  APA® Candidates may also take the APA exams at ACT Test Center site at a slightly higher cost.  

Please note the APA® examinations are only available to residents of the United States and Canada.  We do not have international testing facilities.  The only international testing at this time must be made through your employer in conjunction with COPAS.

COPAS-Approved Company Sites:
COPAS will offer approved Company Sites.  Any company wishing to become a COPAS sponsored test site may do so by contacting Cheri McCallister at cheri.mccallister@copas.org. 

A COPAS/Company approved test site may be more convenient for your society’s members, please inquire today and assist your members in becoming an APA®.
