The Accredited Petroleum Accountant® certification program examinations are all computerized and administered by Comira.  Please contact Comira for the scheduling of any examination and for the Comira test location closest to you.

Testing Locations:
A listing of Comira test sites is available at www.comiratesting.com. Follow the links from the website’s Candidate Center to Accredited Petroleum Accountant® Program for the list of current test sites. In many cases, there are additional testing sites that may not be listed for the locale you are interested in. Please call Comira and inquire as to the Comira test site nearest you, if one is not listed.

Testing at a Comira sponsored test site for the APA® examination is only available on the dates listed above.  You must call Comira and register in advance to schedule your specific examinations for the dates listed above.  We also have a few COPAS sponsored test sites.  Please contact your local society to determine if there is a COPAS sponsored test site near you.  Test dates at COPAS sponsored test sites are the same as the Comira test dates listed above.

COPAS-Approved Company Sites:
Any company wishing to become a COPAS sponsored test site may do so by contacting cheri.mccallister@copas.org. Cheri will be happy to advise you of the requirements and put in contact with Comira for the downloading of the testing software.  A COPAS/Company approved test site may be more convenient for your societies members, please inquire today and assist your members in becoming an APA.

Registering for a Test
All APA® candidates must call Comira or their local COPAS test site in advance to schedule their examinations (see the Comira number above).  Appointments are available Monday through Saturday at most Comira test sites.  

Registration Questions:
Please note, you need to provide the following Information when you register for any examination:
When:      The date & time you wish to take your exam
Where:     The testing center location, where you plan to take the exam or exams
Payment:  You must pay your testing fees with a personal credit card by phone with Comira.  For other
                    methods of payment, please contact Comira's Registration Department
Full Legal Name:  Your official name on the record - legal indentification, e.g., driver license, etc.
Social Security Number:  Your Social Security number is required as your personal reference number
